Modest POS uses only essential cookies required for the service to function:

• Authentication cookies: Supabase session cookies to keep you logged in across page loads. These are HTTP-only, same-site cookies that expire when you log out or after your session expires.
• Session cookies: Managed by Supabase Auth to keep you signed in securely.
• Affiliate cookies: mp_ref and mp_attr — store referral codes and marketing attribution (UTM parameters) to credit referrers. These are first-party, httpOnly, and expire after 30–90 days. They do not track browsing activity.

We may use third-party analytics (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel) in the future. If enabled, these services may set their own cookies. We will update this page before enabling any such service.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Our subprocessors (Vercel, Supabase, and Stripe) may set their own essential cookies for service functionality. We do not control these cookies. Please refer to each provider's cookie policy for details.

4. Managing Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies may prevent the application from functioning properly, particularly the login features.
